Yes. Although the computer is used for preparations and scoring tests, the client only uses the tablet and the special pen coming with it. A test in DiagnoseIS has a paper and pencil look and feel. Most patients even state that drawing on the DiagnoseIS tablet is more convenient than pen and paper. Some of the tests can be zoomed for nearsighted people. Also, the volume for sounds is easily adjusted, allowing your own voice to rest even during testing people having audio problems. Also for children, DiagnoseIS is very suitable. Before starting the test session, you might ask the client to make a free drawing in case you feel the user needs to get comfortable with the system first. A complete solution for (neuro-) psychological test diagnostics, assessments and cognitive training
Welcome to the Diagnose Information System website. DiagnoseIS is an interactive platform that supports (neuro-) psychological testing and test/assessment development. The system, developed by Launch IT in close cooperation to several psychologists in both clinics and universities, handles all quantitative, statistical and objective aspects of the test, so that the test-assistant, psychologist or scientist can fully focus on qualitative aspects, observations and the client. More costly time is gained by the digital archives and automatically generated reports including graphs, drawings, comments regarding observations, results of measured cognitive functions and scores on applicable scales.

Digital Paper and pencil?
Using DiagnoseIS, the client performs a test without having the feeling to be working with a computer. The reason is that the tests are displayed on a horizontal, flat tablet screen, using a special pen for drawing on the screen. Besides the fact that there is no resistance to the usage in this manner, you can also be sure to be measuring the cognitive functions and other properties you are interested in, instead of the client's computer skills. Create and use your test/experiment within an hour!
Because of the dynamic architecture of the system, diagnostic tests of third parties can easily be included in the system. DiagnoseIS can do this for you, although it is also possible to design and publish tests yourself, using the DIS-Designer module. After logging in to the protected area of this website, the test author or publisher can monitor and maintain the tests, or make deals for potential users of the tests for collecting royalties automatically. This way, copyrights are protected. Also, the anonymously collected data can be used for improvements of the tests and for research purposes.
